Kim, thanks for your comment and I would have to agree with you. Based on interviews I’ve seen with her, she appears very open to the public and apparently her battle with hair loss is no exception.

When your hair begins to grow back, it should look natural unless you have an extremely dry scalp. If that’s the case, using a moisturizing conditioner might be useful for a dry scalp problem.

If you wash your hair in water that’s too hot, it will strip the moisture from it causing dry, fly-away strands–especially in cold weather. Cool water rinse will help hold the moisture in.

I’m sorry, I didn’t quite understand your statement, so if you would clarify what you mean, that would be great. As far as mistaking hair damage for hair loss, we see several clients that think they are experiencing hair loss when in fact their hair is breaking due to damage.

The type of treatment should be based on thee type of hairloss and personal preference for the treatment. First step should be to see a physician to diagnose the type of hairloss.
